Is it possible to set a maximum amount of ram for a program/game?

I have 8 Pro 64bit and I have battlefield 4, it seems the game has a memory leak, after half an hour into multiplayer it starts freezing constantly and impossible to play, after closing the game I notice over 80% of my 8GB ram is used and stuck and sense I never had this problem with BF3 or other games and never seen my system ever use more than 60%. I know this game has issues with crashing and other crap but could I allow it to use a max of like 3-4GB and not 6+?

no, it'll use as much as it needs. how much of your ram is the game itself using. Windows will cache up to about 80% leaving only a bit free for new and uncached programs. it is very good at it, don't mess.

I believe the game requires some patches to work better. You may have to wait it out for the next patch.

When its not freezing like right now it is 654 and within a minute it has rose to 752, now 10 mins later it is at 1.5GB and still rising, game crashed instead of lagging to hell.

I should have really asked what your system specifications are? (I guess not that it matters now that it appears to be a compat issue with BF4/WIN 8 64.
