Absolutely! You can treat a 'Shutdown' as an event in many operating systems. This event can be used to trigger a script or program that backs up your database to OneDrive. The specific method will depend on your OS and database setup. For instance, in Windows, you could create a script to perform the backup and use Task Scheduler to run it on system shutdown. Similar approaches are available in Linux with system services. Always test your backup strategy to ensure it's working correctly.

Yes, that’s a big thing always test your back up strategy and make sure you verify the backups are good

Hi All. I want to clear my point Here: "I want to take backup before the shutdown". Not the reverse of it. I believe there is a difference between 'Shutdown after backup' and 'Backup before shutdown'. I want to do the later one. Hope you understand. Thank You.

The problem with that is, how will you know when the shut down comes?

How could you schedule it before a shut down if you don’t know when the shut down is coming?

If you shut down at the same time every day, just use task manager

If you leave OneDrive, running all the time, it should be backed up before you shut down or is your database not located in the OneDrive space
