Is it possible to upgrade these parts?

Hi guys! Im hoping to upgrade this old prebuilt computer
my budget is ~$100
do you guys suggest to save up and build a new computer or just upgrade it?
I searcehd around the forums and i heard my motherboard isnt really upgradable =S
Processor Intel core 2 Duo E7400
socket LGA 775
Mother board Dell 0K068D
bios Dell1.0.5
Graphics card Intel (R)G33/31 Express Chipset Family
2GB ram

Extra info according to CPUZ i have 3 spare memory slots but im not quite sure...

Motherboard is DDR2 2048Mb

Could be a typo. Anyway, friend, I don't recommend a Z77 board with that processor because you aren't overclocking - I'd get a Z68 board or H77, Z77 is really for overclocking. Anyway, don't waste your money on that graphics card - it's old, and the newer 7850 is much better, put your money to that, and don't get a Cooler Master PSU, it's GARBAGE. Go with OCZ, XFX, Seasonic or Corsair.

Using it for gaming my spendature is $900-$1k Im also from australia ssadly i cant go on newegg and some othrer websites =S

Im not on using it for moderate gaming like battle field 3 and just torrentiing etc budget is $900-$1k
I also live in Australia and some websites dont ship to australia =/
 


That board is supposed to support a core 2 quad. If you can find one at the right price, it might be worth the trouble. Would have to be cheap though. Less than $60. They are hard to find at a decent price.

Building or buying a new machine will run you a great deal more than $100.

The cheapest alternative would involve swapping out the board, cpu, memory, and I would highly recommend the PSU as well. you could do that for $150 if you know what your doing.

Im not recommending this course of action. But if thats the only option you can afford, thats how you would want to do it.
