Is it possible to Use a 3g Vodem stick to access a Home Wifi portal?

I have an old 2'degree's 2G/3G Hi-link Vodem stick that is gathering dust and wondered what uses i could put it to.
one idea i had floating around was if it would be possible to use/convert it into a WiFi dongle for a little media box I've built.
as its gathering dust and of not much use to me as a vodem stick i'm open to pretty much any other ideas on its possible future use as i have no intention of ever using it as a vodem stick again.
Its currently being used a glorified USB stick with a 32gig SD card in it.

Unless it has WiFi built into it, you can't do anythig else with it. You can't make the 3G hardware connect to 802.11 signals.
