My Intel i3 NUC is lacking a bit in terms of gpu speed due to being on-chip.

I wondered if something like this could be done?...

Its more for curiosity and possibly something to do while in lockdown!

Edit: The PCIe extension is a Mini PCIe to PCIe.

Welp. I tried it but it doesn't seem to work properly. Windows detects the graphics card but gets the yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager next to Nvidia NVS 300 (card I tested with) when I view it through the normal output on the NUC. Windows reports it as no started.

There doesn't seem to be a way to disable the onboard graphics in the bios.

Oh well. Worth a try.

I want to do something similar with a 8th gen i7 nuc I have and put a GT 1030 in it with a PCIe extension
