Question Is it possible to use an USB Port present in a Wifi Router as a Media Storage?

Why I want this?
I usually read a lot of ebooks but the problem is I forget to sync it between my PC with my Mobile Device. It is better If I store the E-books on the Router itself. So that I can read the same books wherever the network reaches.

USB Features

You should be good to host files off any USB driven storage drive.

I have done this with my last 2 routers - call it the "network drive" for my family to understand and use it. Great for working on the same files from different connected computers. Interesting, though, that my wife's laptop references it in file manager different than my desktop system. Can still get to the same files, but one of them has an extra folder to go through.

Yup got an external drive plugged into mine for the same reason. Easy plug n play to add some network storage

If you do use this feature, make sure go through the security settings. Several router manufacturers have gotten into hot water for having a NAS-like feature, but the default settings let people outside the network to access it with relative ease.
