I wanna buy a intel cpu but how trusting are the vendors on amazon compared to ebay, any one have experienced feedback.

And is it better to buy second hand cpu.

Can some one help?

I left a link to all the vendors you might assume from experience (whats honest) who you would suggest, or who seems dodgy as i've never purchased anything from amazon before 🙁

Im buying internationally.

Thanks.

Amazon is very safe, unless it is sealed in a box, you can buy it if it is cheaper, else the price difference between a 2nd hand and a retail is not worth the risk.

Intel has a official store on amazon????.

Um if i do buy of amazon my warranty and the cpu fails (# intense rant alert#i'm happy to lose 450$-500 rather pay full price, i only want it to last til broadwell arrives, i save 200$, thats the service charge i pay for it# intense rant alert#)

I have at-least 30-days to send it back new or used impossible with the return postage being 50$. so you can see why i asked about 2nd hand cpu's. infact im not paying full price on new cpu intel (#Rant alert# Intel cpus are mostly outdated architecture so buying new when i7 ivy bridge cpu's are in September and im tired waiting; and to justify the means for why i want it second hand, (if it blows up) atleast its comparable to 4770k price with no regrets. #Rant alert#)

But i'll totally agree if the sellers on amazon packaged it POORLY on arrival.

P's i'll pay anything for Broadwell cpu, or phi Coprocessor but not Sandybridge Ivybridge platform.

P.s, intels brutal on domestic imports.

Im buying international, the risks about 60 percent compared to local imports from amazon.

If you want to wait for Broadwell just get an i5/i7, no reason to get an extreme edition and changing it later. Anyway, the new Haswell-e is coming out soon from what I heard rumours flying around having 8 core and supporting ddr4. BTW want are your main priority with the PC?

Im not buying extreme, i was referring to the 3930k, 😛

3960 0r 3970/80x is intels seriously not funny joke.

Intense number crunching, and yes ive evaluated this more then you can imagine, ive researched almost 109 xeon cpu's, and trying to obtain 2 x5680's impossible. second hand in my location 2000$ per cpu O_x

Broadwell 16core cpu IS too long over due, haswells just 12 core cpu with 30 percent gain, another insult from intel.
