Is it safe to buy a video card that has been used for mining?

Hello,

I have found a 1080 Ti card at a good price for the prices in my country and websites, but he was using the card for mining for 4 months in a room with cool air .. What do you think and do I buy or not?

If it was used for only 4 months, kept clean, and cool, there should be no problem with it - after all, these are designed to be used! Personally, i would say it was a very viable option, especially if its a good price!

I'd steer clear of it unless it's a really good deal, but that's just me. I suppose if it was only used for four months it's not that bad... but then again that's four months of constant 100% usage, and although the room had cool air that doesn't necessarily mean the card itself was cool.
