Assuming that if it fails you may have an unusable card. If this is your ONLY video card, I wouldn't recommend it.give it a shot.

if your card bricked and you could boot with igpu without problem, then this could be a failsafe, only if the card could get detected on windows and nvflash.i have an igpu ofc
You're very lucky...but not out of the woods yet. One of the significant differences between cards can be VRM subsystems. The vBIOS also initializes and parameterizes that so if done incorrectly it could end up damaging VRM components or simply being unstable. Hopefully (and probably more likely) the latter which will leave you to wanting to flash back to the original vBIOS. Of course, better yet is when the VRM is identical between the two cards.i was so scared at first
i can still feel it
That's half the battle. The other half is durability and longevity....how long it will last before a VRM FET gives up and smokes can be the real question.its stable
Why would you even do that you can just overclock it manually and brick it that way or get your 4 or 5 extra fps.Ok, so i want to flash my Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti to a OC version (GV-N105TD5-4GD) to (GV-N105TOC-4GD)
Am i able to do this (note: has same power limits and device id)
