With Windows 10 recently releasing, I just happen to have finally received my last component of my new PC build. I'm not entirely tech savvy, and one thing that came to my mind was: is it safe right now to buy Windows 10 to put it on a USB drive to make a bootable USB drive and installing it on the PC once it's built?

The reason why I'm asking if it's safe is because I recently just had constant crashing problems on my laptop after getting the free upgrade (the "INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR" restart problem) that I had to revert back to Windows 8.1

I'm worried if I buy Windows 10 and install it on my new PC that it'll just end up with all these crashes and bugs again, and I'd like not to waste $120 on a new OS. Is it safe to install or should I just buy Windows 7 or 8.1 instead? Thanks.

Yes it's safe to install windows 10. I have a system that's relatively new and windows 10 installed just fine.

However, I did have issues with the upgrade from 8.1 to 10 since I told windows to keep my programs and files. That made it all wonky, so I just reinstalled windows 10 CLEAN this time, yesterday. It works even better now.
