I wanted to know if it was safe to unpark my Processors cores since i heard that it gives people a little more FPS in their games? Is this true?
My Specs are:
FX-8350 4.0GHz
Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4gb
Corsair Vengeance 8gb RAM
XFX 550w 80+ Bronze PSU
MSI 970A-G46
Western Digital 1TB HDD
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
and a Samsung DVD/CD Writer
I do not overclock any of my components, nor do i want/need to. I do play games such as Battlefield 4 without any issues other than Siege of Shanghai crashing 2-3 minutes after the skyscraper comes down (Could have sworn they fixed that though). But all i want to know is if Core Unparking actually does give a little boost in performance as well?
