Question Is it safe to use a PSU with torned wire?

I have a PSU with little bit torned wire and it just works fine. Should I simply tape up the wire or should I consider to get it to a repair shop?

Might want to share a pic of the extent of the tearing on the wires. On a second note, also include the make and model of the PSU and the specs to your system that the PS is driving.

Is the damage on a wire inside the case or the one used to provide power to the PSU from your mains?

Well I have shared the link of pic of my teared wire.
Talking about the specs, I have a Microtek 350 W PSU.
Intel Celeron Processor which consumes 35 W
with a 2GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM
and Jetway 945GCM2S-A2-6H Motherboard
with no GPU
and a Seagate 80GB 7200RPM HDD
I know you guys would suggest me to upgrade it but I dont have that budget to do so.
