Is it safe to use the air conditioner while I use my PC

I'm paranoid and I don't turn the Air conditioner on until after I turn off my PC. I'm paranoid about using the AC when I am at the desktop because, during sleep, I hear some sounds but I'm not sure if its from the PC. I assume that it's the PC's case that makes the sound but I don't want to take any chances if that sound comes during the PC being turned on.

Is it safe to actually use the AC while I use my desktop?

Yes, running AC is perfectly safe while operating your PC in nearly all situations. The only time I would be concerned would be if the place you are physically in has electrical issues or the PC and AC shared the same outlet or circuit to the breaker box.

Ok so then when at night, why do I hear some sounds even when the pc is turned off? Does that have to do with the Pc and monitor plastic cases that I'm told will create sounds occasionally?

I guess a kind of clang? Doesn't sound electric at all but sounds like plastic

No. It only happens when I put on the AC when I sleep. And the PC is turned off at that point.

Does the AC blow directly onto your PC? I don't see anything to be concerned about here. Could be something else altogether and have nothing to do with your PC.

It doesn't directly blow on the PC...but ok I'll try and see where it goes.
