Is It Safe ?

So i have a relatively small desk and i need the space, But mainly i need to fix a serious problem, My Desktop Mic, There is odd noises being sent into it and it's the vibration of the Case being on my desk and if it was on the ground it would not happen, So i am asking if there is ANY threat to my Computer if it is always sitting on the Carpet next to my desk, I hope someone or more people can help and i thank you in advance.

Sitting directly on the carpet is non-optimal. If your PSU or other fans are sucking from underneath, they will be sucking in carpet dust/lint, and the overall airflow will be restricted.

Put it on a board or piece of plastic.

lol no you'll be fine. The PC case will be fine on the carpet. I have my pcs on carpet all the time with no issue.

This is true if you have fans that need airflow underneath the case. I personally don't have any cases that have that which is why i completely forgot about those.
