Is it still possible to buy windows 8.1 for desktop PC?

Hello,

I'm using autocad software and Windows 10 is not supported yet.
When I'm heading to microsoft store, all I see is an option to buy Windows 10.
I'm interested in buying Windows 8.1 by downloading the ISO first, installing it, and then paying for the license key - is that possible? if so, how?
(What about windows 7?)

Unfortunately, you can't do this. But you can buy Windows 8.1 OEM or retail from places like Amazon or Newegg. Windows 7 not so much, and is now very expensive. By the end of October 2016, you will only be able to buy Windows 10.

Autocad 2010+ should all work just fine on Windows 10. The only thing is that they haven't tested it for all Windows configurations, not that it isn't possible to run it. Don't worry too much about it unless you are dealing with custom plugins.
