Hello

I wasn't to worried about upgrading my PC until a month or two ago and it has started to play up. IE CPU error so I needed to reset it to default and boot up issues. I was looking at buying a Ryzen 7 or maybe 9. I would probably get 16 gb of DDR4 and a NVMe ssd card to play the games from. Would these upgrades be beneficial and last another 5+ years? or is my machine good enough (if it works) to play for now. A lot of new games are telling me CPU isn't recommended anymore.

I use it for work IE lots of tabs open/ emails/ internet/ spreadsheets and I play games. I will be buying a ps5 but i want something to play Xbox and Pc games.

It's impossible to say how long something will last but typically mine last about 4-5 years (I usually buy mid-range pc's) before I feel they need replacing. I doubt your GPU would last another 5 years, though.
