Is It Truly Worth Going to skylake

So my question is, for a gamer who loves to play games at high resolution, and loves to stream and record gameplay and upload it to youtube, is it worth it to upgrade to an (i7-6700K) skylake build with a (DDR4-16GB 3000) Ram and an (gtx 980TI), from an i5-4690k, 8GB DDR3 Ram, and an GTX 960 2GB. open to opinions and everything. thanks

If you love gaming at high resolution, then the GTX980 would certainly help. The i5 Haswell to i7 Skylake upgrade though, nowhere near as much. It may help a little with stream recording smoothness, not much else. 16GB RAM might help things run a little smoother too but not necessarily faster.
