Already have one MSI r9 280x, Thinking of buying another one as I've come across another one cheap.

You'll need a good quality 1000 watt power supply for that. Certainly nothing less than 850 watts. A higher power single card solution is usually better.

NO! sli-crossfire is lacking on most new titles don't bother, wait a few months for amd's and Nvidia new products and get a new gpu
