I'm currently putting together a budget gaming pc build and was wondering if its worth spending the extra 70+ dollars to get a 8350 instead of a 6300. These are the other pc components:

PSU: Antec 450 watt model sp-450
GPU: EVGA gtx 650 superclocked (will upgrade later on)
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43
RAM: 8gb ddr3

How much of a difference will I get with the 8350 and is it worth it? Should I get something in between these 2 cpu's?

Solution
I wouldn't get the 8350. It's pretty expensive for the small increase over the 8320, which I suggest. But there is a difference between the 8-cores and the 6 cores. Definitely more noticeable power. (I don't remember the %). I would also increase the wattage of your PSU. If you stick the the 650, the PSU is fine. But if you ever want to get something more powerful, you'll need more watts. I'd look into a 500 or a 600 watt psu.

What's your budget?

Like SR-71 Blackbird said above, I wouldn't reccomend an fx 8350 for your pc with your motherboard now.

The fx 8350, if you were going to get it, basically is made for multitasking, with it's 8 logical cores. It's good for gaming, a great costXbenefit, and has some great overclock capabilities if the right cooler is used.
