Is it worth getting a used r9 290

I'm not looking to spend lots and get an r9 390 or whatever.
I have an r9 270x 2gb windforce, and saw a used sapphire r9 290 for $220 CAD ($170 US) is it worth getting a used sapphire 290? i heard ppl have issues with it breaking. should i stick with my 270x or sell my 270x for a 290?

thats a pretty good price. and its a pretty good card. if it works fully right now i would get it

just a fyi the price has fell off a cliff for those cards right now you will be lucky to get above 200
