Should i get an i7 4770k for my first gaming PC build or an i5 4670k and spend the extra 100 on a better graphics card? (possibly the GTX 770 or 780)

Thank you for you help

if your just going to game, get the 4670K and better gpu. 4770K, for now, is not that much better for gaming. you probably wouldnt even notice the difference. But you would notice with a better gpu.
i5 4670k is a nice chip, but do you intend to overclock? If not an i5 4440/4570 with an Asrock B85 pro4 is a good option, giving you more money towards GPU. If you want i7 performance, the 1230 v3 I mentioned above is an option too and would still be about $80 cheaper than a 4670k, Z87 extreme4, and a Coolermaster 212 evo. A 4570 and B85 Pro4 would be roughly $135 cheaper. That price difference is about what the price difference is of an R9 270 vs a GTX 770.
