Question Is it worth investing in a 34'' 21:9 monitor) or stay on 16:9 ?

My work laptop is a Dell Inspiron 5515 with Ryzen 5 5500u.

I don't know if it will work with a 34'' monitor like this iiyama GCB3480WQSU-B1.

I'm currently working on old 24'' LG monitor. I feel that I need some more space for applications which I use like pdf editor, web pages in my browser, postgreSQL and visualStudioCode. I need some advice whether to buy 27'' ips monitor like dell g2724d, or it's worth to invest little more for 34'' iiyama if my laptop can handle requirements of 21:9 in 3440x1440p (only for work).

I also have a gaming computer with ryzen 5 5600X and RTX 3070 which i could sometimes use with new monitor for games like EA FC (and again if this card will work fine at 3440x1440p and will provide 50/60fps in some role-play games).

Should be able to get 3440x1440 60Hz out of the HDMI 1.4b port on the laptop.
