Is it worth it to hook my evo850 to sata 3?

I have 250gb evo850 on a sata2 port and i couls get a new mobo for 40 dollars with usb 3.0 and sata 3 is it worth it??

Yes, Sata 3 is capable of much faster read/write speeds, Sata 3 is better optimized for SSDs
