Is it worth it to OC a fx8350?

i was thinking to get a liquid cooler along with a 8350, is there any added performance by OCing from 4.0 to maybe 4.4 GHz?

It depends on what you are using the processor for. A good water-cooled can get you in the 5 ghz range given that you have a quality motherboard. I think it's worth it.

If you are gaming or rendering stuff and so then yes overclocking is worth it, its like extra free peformance so why not do it.

As long as you can keep it cool that it does not go too hot then oc as much as you can.

But get a 240mm or 280mm radiator one, a 120/140mm is too small, it will keep it cool but not much difference then air cooler a 240/280mm will gove you much more headroom

Then overclocking is good gives you better fps for free and easy overclock to 4,5-4,7 ghz without problems aslong as you can cool it
