Ssd natno 480gb
R9 290

Is it worth it to upgrade my processor mb and graphic card to
I7 3770k
Asus Maximus V Formula ROG
Add r9 290(running cf)

Total spent for upgrade is $400

Mainly used only for gaming

It's definitely worth it. I would consider jumping to skylake if possible if your going to get a new Motherboard anyways.

What resolution and frame rate does your monitor support, and what are some titles you plan on playing?

I run dual 290's for my single 1440p monitor. Maxes out everything I play, flawlessly. Single 290 I manage medium to maxed out varying on the game. If you're utilizing a 1080p monitor a single 290 should still suffice for a while.

As far as the processor goes, it may or may not be a good idea from a money standpoint to upgrade. You can very cheaply jump platforms for a decent performance boost in processor intensive titles, like cities skylines.
