is it worth pairing an Intel Core 2 Duo e8400 with amd r7 240?
or am I gonna face any Bottlenecks? cauze i've had my old pentium 4 3.06 Ghz Cpu bottlenecking all my GPUS .

Not a clue why you would think of bottle necks with a video card made for watching movies.

The only thing holding you back between the cpu and gpu is the gpu. The r7 240 isn't strong enough to bottleneck the e8400. I didn't start seeing bottlenecks until I upgraded to an hd 7850 and it was just slight bottlenecking.

Becauze i had the pentium 3.06 ghz which was pretty good but it was bottlenecking my old Amd hd 5450 .. So i thought i should ask before i upgrade anything and waste my money ...
What i really Wanted to ask will i get a decent performance from them ?

I don't know what you call decent performance, it will probably depend on the game, the resolution and the graphics settings.

I was able to play cod ghosts shortly after it released last year on the e8400 but it was paired with the hd 7850 which is quite a bit faster than an r7 240. Resolutions were around 1280x1024 - 1600x1200 on medium/high settings and getting 50-60fps maybe dipping to 45fps at times. Every game is different and the higher the resolution and details, the more it's going to ask from your gpu.
