What is the model of your prebuilt?

I want to double check the case can fit the new motherboard.
My Pre-Built was on Argos, and doesn’t ‘exist’ anymore. All I can say is it’s cyberpower and my current motherboard is a mini atx right or whatever it’s called, if you goto the top of the thread.

Well, some prebuilt come with different physically sized power supplies meaning the case cannot have the PSU replaced with a standard ATX one.

Since you think the PSU is thermaltake, that sounds like it likely isnt propriatary.
They took the sticker off but there was a warranty one left that I could see thermal take on it. Thanks a lot for your help it’ll be nice to finally have a better pc more up to date and can run games I currently play a lot better.

hmm are u guys serious, u suggest him a r3 1200 for gaming? man 150 pounds are like 200 dollars, get yourself an i3 8100 and a b360 mobo along with 8gb ddr4 2666mhz ram, great combo. In the future sell ur graphics card and buy an rx 580 maybe, i have the same combo and it runs everygame with high fps, its not an i5 or an i7 but it goes pretty well.

Overclocked 1200=i3 8100

Ryzen performs simmilarly for less money.

I rock a ryzen 3 1200 and rx580 and it performs pretty nice in games. Sometimes in a few games my cpu maxes out and ocassionally stutters, but it doesnt stop me from having 60+ fps in every game i have attempted to play.

Ryzen for the win intel sucks
The Ryzen 3 1200 is £50 right now and £100 when not on sale, the i3-8100 is £140 on pc part picker on amazon and is £184 when not on sale, that’s already most of my budget because I’m not getting this for another 4 months and would mean I can’t afford a better PSU or getting myself an ssd. I can always overclock the ryzen 3 1200 to the performance of the ryzen 3 1300x if I wish to save money
