Is it worth to build a new PC rioght now?

I am spending about 1700$ there are z97's and new processors coming out, will GTX 800's come out soon too? Is it worth to buy the 780'sright now?

I believe the 800 series is being put on major hold because of manufacturing issue.

Yeah what the poster above has said is pretty much true, I would rather just build right now. For $1700 your build should be way more than capable for the next period of time before an upgrade.
