  1. It is a 7-year-old CPU, not 4.
  2. Is it worth it? Definitely. But even after the upgrade you will be upgrading it to a way better but older CPU. But it will work better, and the upgrade would not be costly.

When you bought is irrelevant. CPUs in general does not start to fail after some years of usage like GPU or hard disks. If you are extreme overclocking it can be an issue, but I don't think anyone would bother to overclock an i3.

In my country here, indonesia, i7-4470 is only less than 120 dollars, so, is it worth the money? and i only have haswell-compatible motherboard for now, but im trying to save for a new pc. And thanks for answering.

if you have an i5 instead, I will say do not buy it, but an upgrade from i3 to i7 would be great and yes, it is worth it. Buy it, you will not regret it.
