Hello I have the following question, is it worth to sell my r7 260x and buy a GTX 960 as an upgrade, I can't buy an r9 280 because I only have an 430w psu.
btw I'm asking this because some people in the youtube comment section said that this decision is really stupid and I should just buy a r9 280 even with the psu I currently own
960 was supposed to be faster than 280. 3gb seems attractive but sometimes i see that that extra VRAM only useful for games that really VRAM hungry. Instead of very old tahiti you should probably get cards like 290/290X.

So in conclusion just buy a EVGA GeForce GTX 960 - SuperSC ACX 2.0+ - 2GB GDDR5 and upgrade again in two years when or AMD or Nvidia have made a new Graphic cards series. Also one more question I currently have an athlon x4 750k clocked at 3,9ghz is this enough for the GTX 960 or should I clock it i little bit higher to 4ghz?
i'd get the 960 - even with 430 watts it will still run but be careful not to oc too much or not to oc at all because that 430 is already the minimum for a gtx 960.

I know that's why i'm thinkg of only overclocking from 3,9ghz to 4,2 ghz but it won't be needed if there's no big bottleneck. but I don't know what to think of the athlon x4 750k
bottleneck will only occur on games that uses more cpu power like crysis 3 but it wont bottleneck that much - and even of you overlock the x4 750k it won't do much. a 300mhz oc will not do that much.
any way with that setup you can pretty much play any game on high with some ultra.

Nice that´s good to hear because that´s where I was worried that I would waste my money on buying a GPU that wouldn´t make much difference
