Is it worth upgrading?

Hello, I'm thinking of upgrading few things on my pc but I'm not sure if it's worth it. My specs are

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz

GPU: Nvidia Gtx 670

Mobo: ASUS P8H61-M LX3 - 2.0

2 HDDs 700gb (one is 320gb and its old 4 years and other is 9 years)

8gb of ram 666mhz

Win 8.1

So I planned to buy a 240gb SSD and new HDD 320 or 500gb and to buy new 8gigs of ram at 1600mhz, pc is working fine and runs some nice games but it's getting slower and slower as time passes so is it worth for me to upgrade that or to save up and build new pc? I mostly play some League of Legends and do modeling in SolidWorks.

I would just get a SSD to speed it up and wouldn't bother with the memory as newer systems use DDR4.

IMO, not worth it , time for new rig as far as gaming goes...

No reason that rig can't be re-purposed as a home NAS, etc...
