Seems like a pretty good deal to me, or am I missing something?

As long as it all works correctly, that is a spectacular deal! However, seems a bit too good to be true... Check and make sure all the parts work before buying. The only thing I would do is perhaps add an SSD later on, and maybe a better PSU, but for £500 that is a spectacular deal; good for OCing, good for gaming, nice monitor... Get it, as long as it all works! :)

Says he has the receipts from ebuyer he bought it all in February and doesn't use it so is selling? Not sure if it is all assembled, but even if it isn't still seems good to me!

Not even sure I have the spare cash at the moment but don't know how I can NOT buy it TBH!

Hmm... It seems like this should be good to me. Is there any way for you to go over and at least physically check the parts if the PC isn't assembled?

That is one fine deal, i do not see any problem with it, but if you are not into any other thing other than gaming then you can build a better gaming PC for about the same price using AMD CPU.

But if you are into other things like Video Editing and other CPU Intensive tasks then this second hand would serve you better, but if you just want to game and not do any fancy CPU Utilizing stuff like Video Editing , Software Compiling and other things then the PC that i am recommending below should serve you better.

No it is on eBay and ends in an hour, cash on collection. Says it is as new and all in working order, seems legit but I can't help feeling a bit dubious?

But then again the optimist in me is saying he is just after a quick sale to get rid of it and I should get it quick! :)

Thanks for the quick reply by the way!

I disagree. The CPU in OPs build greatly outperforms the CPU in yours, whereas the GPU in yours does not perform that much better than the 660. Plus, if they want, OP can always sell the 660 (as it is a good model) and put that money towards another GPU later in life. The build that OP suggested is much, much better than yours.

Thanks for your help, but I do not have a monitor either and the one included is worth £180 new! I am only interested in gaming but I in with the monitor included this is a steal.

Beats my blooming laptop!

Plus, the GTX 660 DCUII is still a great card!
In any case, if you think that the question is answered, and there has been one person who has been helpful, don't forget to choose their answer as the B.A.! :)

Solution

I have clearly mentioned everything about the CPU and it is not like i am misleading him, the best thing about my build is that it is new, new is always better than the second hand and it is equivalent and sometimes even better for gaming. The 7950 outperforms the 660 absolutely in everything. You can go and check out the benchmarks for that.

If gaming is all you need then i would personally go for the new AMD Build as it is much better in gaming.

In any case, if you think that the question is answered, and there has been one person who has been helpful, don't forget to choose their answer as the B.A.

And just because you want your answer to be selected as the best answer that does not mean that you can just*** about everyone answers. I am talking about a new build with a better graphics card as opposed to a second hand build with inferior graphics card.

At the end i would like to say that if you are not into Video Editing and other similar CPU taxing stuff then go for the newer and better in gaming AMD build as suggested by me.
I am not misleading you, i am just trying to help. Why would i mislead you?

Update :

Thanks for your help, but I do not have a monitor either and the one included is worth £180 new! I am only interested in gaming but I in with the monitor included this is a steal.

Beats my blooming laptop!

Oh! if that is the case then go for the second hand build, there is nothing else that could be said after reading this. 🙁

Excuse me? Last time I checked, we don't allow curse words on these forums... Also, that phrase is something that I post and the end of every single forum in which I participate. I was not asking for a B.A.; I was simply telling OP to choose whoever helped them the most. Obviously, they chose me over you, as my answer was chosen as the best. I don't see why that requires the use of swear words; please learn to control your temper.
And did I ever say that the 660 was better than the 7950? No. I simply said that performance difference from 6300 to 3570k is much larger than that of a 660 to a 7950.
Please, learn to a). control your temper, and b). actually read what someone has typed. Perhaps this will contribute to you getting more best answers. :)
Thanks you, and have a nice day.
