I bought LG 27GL850-B monitor. It's 27 inches. Nowhere it ever said it is a curved monitor. I turned it and the view with the monitor itself are SLIGHTLY curved backwards.
I thought it was a flat panel? Or what am I seeing here exactly?

I tried making a screen with my mobile but it doesn't show the effect.

Solution
You might want to show a video or a set of pictures to illustrate what you're looking at. It's perhaps that the panel got bent during shipping, in which case you should return the panel with documentation towards the seller and LG proving it arrived that way. On another note, no the panel or the display should not be curved backwards unless LG thought about making you relive what a fish-eye lens does.

To add context to the panels side view;

no it doesn't come curved forward or back.

The only curved part is the rear frame, it's an aesthetical choice.

Ordered a new ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ monitor. Gonna wait a few days for it to arrive and gonna compare both if it's really a bad LG monitor or my eyes are fooling me. I am not liking its output at all.
