[SOLVED] Is m5a78l-mlx3 compatible with gtx 1050TI?

Hey there, I'm planning to order a GTX 1050TI(Gigabyte GeForce GTX1050 Ti OC 4GB GDDR5 PCIE GV-N105TOC-4GD) graphics card but I have some doubts that if my old motherboard ( ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 ) is compatible with GTX 1050TI or not. As far as I know my motherboard has 1x PCIe 2.0 x16 socket. But 1050TI Graphics card is for PCIe 3.0 I suppose. Can I use that graphic card with my motherboard? Thank you in advance.

The GPU should work on your board but I'm concerned about the make and model of your PSU and it's age. You should also make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard prior to any upgrades.
