[SOLVED] Is monitor freesync compatible? Only has HDMI input

Hi.

I'm looking to get the following monitor to use for gaming: https://www.ebuyer.com/831697-acer-...tm_content=1200055&utm_campaign=Hatch_1368285

My only concern is that generally freesync monitors require DisplayPort for it to work correctly, but this one doesn't seem to have such a port. Accordingto https://www.amd.com/en/products/freesync-monitors it is supported. I read freesync can be done over HDMI for certain models, but is there any way to check if this is one of those models?

I believe my graphics card (RX 580) should be freesync compatible.

Nice monitor, it is compatible and can be utilized with an HDMI or DP cable.
