is msi gtx 1070 gaming x 8gb good for 4k?

As I mentioned in the subject, because I am receiving a 4k monitor, is the said gpu good for 4k gaming?

Specs:
-mobo msi Z170A gaming pro
-cpu i7 6700
-gpu msi gtx 1070 gaming x 8gb
-ram 2x 8gb ddr4
-monitor asus rog swift pg27aq 4k

You are on limit. If you want to play smooth don't put everything on ultra and it will be fine .For 4k 1080Ti is recommended.
