I bought a PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT Red Devil for $780 new.

I passed on the MSI AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT as it is $1,015. https://www.microcenter.com/product...o-triple-fan-16gb-gddr6-pcie-40-graphics-card

Does MSI warrant the extra $235?

Would appreciate understanding if there is any reason for me to return the PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT Red Devil before I assemble in 8 days time.

Thank you kindly.

No, you did good. You just saved $235 buying a GPU of equal or better quality. One feature the Red Devil has is a dual-bios, which the MSI does not.
Thank You Kindly Good Sir!

I originally eyed Sapphire's NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT PURE 16G GDDR6 due to the white, slick look that pairs nicely with my white Fractal Torrent case, but that was $200 more than the MSI and felt like I would be getting massive diminishing returns there.

Unless I bought from Groves.land? which I've never heard of... https://www.grooves-inc.com/sapphir...dux2EKxOKtv_1nQIVgn7BfJj_GRkZlA6ICc7ry7pgNB6I

I did have a powercolor hellhound 6600xt that I had lots of issues with and ended up returning for an asus card a couple years back. But that situation was probably a one off. That said, try it out make sure everything is working. Powercolor is a well known manufacturer and if it’s working you should be good to go.

On the same note, I have a brand new MSI RX 6800 XT Gaming Z Trio that I'm having issue with and may have to return.
