Hello! I have a corsair vs 450 psu and i want to know if i can run a gtx 770 with it. My pc specs :
xeon e5 2420
8gb ecc ram
240gb ssd
x58 motherboard

The VS 450 power supply was not made to use with high powered GPU's. It was made more for an office type pc. Using it with a GTX 770 that can easily draw more than 200 watts is a bad idea.
I'm seeing that GPU requires 230 watts and a 6 and an 8 pin connector.
Then add about 100 watts for the CPU plus everything else....and I think you are cutting it too close.

Nvidia recommends 600 watts. You can try it and maybe you will get lucky....but I wouldn't even try it because I think it's cutting it too close.
