Hello Friends,

Last July I built a new computer with these components:

Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360L Core White 360mm
GAMEMAX Rampage Series 850W PCIe 5.0 80 Plus Gold Certified
Montech AIR 903 MAX, E-ATX Mid Tower Case, High Airflow
TEAMGROUP MP44 2TB SLC Cache Gen 4x4 M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 (x2)
XFX Speedster QICK319 RX 7700 XT Black Gaming Graphics Card 12GB GDDR6 HDMI 3xDP, AMD
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor
GIGABYTE B650 AERO G (AM5/ LGA 1718/ AMD B650
G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB)

I have had a few error message notifications when I run the "View reliability report" stating "Windows Hardware Error"

I reached out to AMD since I troubleshooted the PS, GPU and Ram to see if the CPU is bad, but they keep telling me to reinstall Windows 11. I did this 4 times over 30 days and the same error still shows up. Since I purchased the CPU in July 2024, it should still be under warranty.

I don't notice any issues with this system, but this error keeps showing up. The question is, how do I identify the problem? I have tried everything.

When I run /scannow, it shows no errors.

Thank you for your support.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

How did you troubleshoot the PSU?

Did you install the OS in offline mode, thereafter installing all drivers in an elevated command?

I would say that the worst thing you've put in the system you built is the TEAMGROUP MP44 2TB.

There is nothing wrong really with that drive for a gaming rig. It's not the best drive, but far from being junk.

Hello,

Yes I did install offline. And I updated all drivers as Administrator.

Funny that it is mentioned that the PS could be bad and not recommended but the reviews say it was a good PS. What is considered a High Quality PS?

Thank you.

You can consult this for getting a quality PSU. All gamemax are given F tier status.

Problem is its a general error, but I would have to agree with AMD that its most likely a partition format issue or something wrong with the drive or motherboard.

I would next try removing and replacing the drive back into its slot.

I used the 1Tb version on my MSI cubi-n but I had the same issue except I was instant blue screen crash with the same error on 2022 server after install (1st reboot). I booted an ubuntu usb stick, got out of their setup and ran gparted and deleted all partitions and then created a new GPT partition then I reinstalled 2022 server with no issues.

I would say if you have a spare hard drive, remove Teamgroup and try another clean install.
As good as Teamgroup is, some batches have had bugs.
Hello,

I do not have a spare drive. I would hate to think I have to buy a new drive. If, the drive was failing, wouldn't I have other error codes popping up or other things going wrong?

Yes this error issue is a big deal to me, but if I have to start replacing components that are only 6 months old, I might as well spend the $2k invested on a new setup.

There must be an easier way to diagnose this issue. Am I the only one with this problem? Lol

Thank you

There are cheap hard drives (ssd not nvme) 128/240gb that you can get and have as a backup or use as an external one with a Sata to usb3 cable.
My apologies, I already have a 4tb external that I just finished backing up my PC.

I will remove the 2 SSD cards and reset them and see if the problem is those. If the problem is still there tomorrow, then I will need a new path to take to resolve this issue. Funny thing is, if I never looked at my reliability report, I would never know a problem was there.
