Is my computer compatible with the GTX 960 and 970?

I have been looking to upgrade my graphics card for some time now, but my only problem is that I don't know if my computer is compatible with the graphics cards that I want to get.
I cant decide between the GTX 960 or the 970, maybe you can help me out with that too. But my main problem is if i can actually use them.

(PC Specs)
Motherbored: Gigabyte H61MA-D2V
CPU: Intel Core i5 2400
Current Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6670
Graphics card I want: GeForce GTX 960, or 970
Ram: 8GB
Power Supply: Cit 500w black edition.(Planning to buy this new PSU: XFX ATX 550 Power Supply)

If I have something that I need to upgrade to go with the graphics cards then please tell me.

Yes they are compatible, ie - they will fit into your motherbd, but you will need to see if they will fit into your case.
