Is my computer compatible with the RX 480 or do I need to upgrade anything to use it? My CPU is Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-6100 @ 3.57GHz, mobo is B150 Gaming M3, my PSU is EVGA 500W, and I have 8 GB DDR4 RAM. My current GPU is Geforce GT 740, if that matters. All help is appreciated, thanks!

Yes it is compatible however, just making sure your Power Supply has the appropriate 8 PIN GPU connectors for the RX 480? If you don't know if it does or not let us know the exact model and i can check for you. Hope this helps :)

The model is EVGA 500w PSU 100-w1-0500. Would that work or would I need to buy a new PSU?

According to the manufacturer's website the Power Supply does indeed have the appropriate connectors (2x 6+2 PIN connectors). Here is the spec sheet if you need > http://www.evga.com/products/Specs/PSU.aspx?pn=81e4cda4-e770-4372-91a9-55ab4bb5b12b. You are good to go! 😀

Sweet, thank you!
