[SOLVED] Is my computer mid or high end? and what build shall i get next?

My PC Specs:
GPU: GTX 960 4GB
CPU: AMD FX 6300
HDD: 500GB HDD 7200RPM
Motherboard: M5A97 R2
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
PSU: SV450 450W

Future Build:
GPU: GTX 960 4GB
GPU: GTX 960 4GB
CPU: i5 4690K
HDD: 500GB HDD 7200RPM
SSD: 120GB Kingston
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-SLi
RAM: 8GB Vengance DDR3 2133MHz
PSU: CX750M 750W

(GTX 960 SLI is faster than GTX 980 and R9 390X)

Alternative Build:
GPU: GTX 980 or R9 390X
CPU: FX 8350
HDD: 500GB 7200RPM
Motherboard: M5A97 R2
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
PSU CX750M 750W

which would be the best build and is it high end or mid range?

As of now it is a medium build. The 960 is built for 1080p and 1080p only, the 6300 is very respectable but no i5 or i7 of a high end PC, 8 GB of ram is standard and the SSD is mediocre and the PSU could use more beef, dont buy anything from the CX line ever, they have awful quality control and use the cheapest parts available. Now for advice. Consider dropping the 960 ASAP. I had one for 2 weeks before I returned it for my 970. The 4 GB version is pointless with a bus of 128 bits. Its to small to use more than 2.2 Gb anyway you cut it. Id throw the idea of SLI out the window for that reason and for the reason of most games have crap optimization for SLI in comparison to a single card. The 980 is respectable but Id opt for the 390x for the extra memory.

Its over budget, sorry, but I'm surprised. I thought I had the highest prices here in Canada..
If you need to bring it down, opt for a cheaper 390x. The ASUS one is just what I'd recommend as far as brand. Other than that theres not much you can do to keep it a high end reliable computer for less money. Try and find the components elsewhere cheaper? You know your local websites better than I, but I know components.

why is SLI bad? a 960 is litterally half a 980. but 2 960's is faster than a 980. and even if some games have bad sli you still get more fps than a 980 if you overclock it anyway. same goes for the R9 390x

Foremost, you might have 2 four gig cards, but seeing as the 960 has a 128 bit bus, youre limited to 2.2 Gb, and the memory doesnt stack meaning you wont have 4.4 usable gigs because theres two, its just 2.2. 2.2 gigs will be very limiting, especially for the amount of money youre spending. You need to find a card thats right for you and has 4 Gb's of vRam. And lastly, I get that you can overclock it but dont count on that. My 970 wont overclock whatsoever, you cant buy a card expecting that from it. But moreover, even if do OC it to get more FPS, some games just dont get any better because they really are not made to be used in SLI.

You might get that in GTA 5 because its a triple A title that is optimized for SLI, but like I said, most aren't. Also, that video doesnt change the fact youre limited to 2.2 Gb of vRam. Speaking out of experience having had one, the 960 is not a card that I recommend.
