Is my Corsair CX500 hurting my Gigabyte HD7970?

I've been runnning my system with the CX500 using an OC editiong HD7970.
I have an
i7-2600k 3.4GHz,
8GB DDR3 RAM,
1TB 7200RPM HDD,
Gigabyte HD7970 OC Edition

I run all games in 1080p at ultra settings getting 60+ FPS.

My system gets hot but not too hot.

Just wondering if my Corsair is very good quality and isn't going to hurt my brand new 7970!

It's not a very good power supply , it has poor capacitors , but it has enough power to run a 7970.

The CX series isn't their high teir. But if there is no crashes, then I wouldn't be concerned

The Corsair CX , VS , and RM all use poor capacitors , the TX VERSION 2 , AX , AXi , HX , are decent.
