So i have a i5-4570 , is this cpu just bad for this day or ?
Im planning on upgrading my pc , thinking about a gtx 1070, but will my cpu cause me any problems ? Or is it just fine ?
Got a firestrike result on 6180 , and i have a gtx 960.

Even i5 2500k can handle any games . Dont know about 2017 upcoming titles . But i5 4570 CPU is very good for gaming. I strongly recommend stay with it. '' If you upgrade to i7 just for gaming it would be a loss '' .

If you want 60+ frames each n every title go upgrade gpu & stop thinking about CPU . Cpu can improve maximum of 5-10frames .

if all you do is game then ya.
but i edit videos, render 3d, render 2d, render 4k, ect...
3rd gen vs 6th gen is a difference to me when just using windows.
but yes just focus of the gpu but your cpu will still be old and wont have ddr4 or other capabilities.

Oh you did not mention earlier about rendering stuffs . If you do go upgrade then .

ok thx , im thinking about to upgrading the gpu then ,will the 1070 be a solid choise ?

1080p = kinda overkill.
1440p = Awesome.
4k = GTX 1080 !

If you want to game todays titles at 1080p or a little higher, a gtx 970 would be a perfect choice, but if you still want to game over 1080p when the next gen games come in, then u might want a 1070.

1070 is a great graphics card for 1440p and higher, though very overkill for 1080p
