[SOLVED] Is my CPU fried? NEED HELP ASAP

Long story short, I put in my Intel Core i3 and my pins on my MSI B360 Gaming Plus were bent. My newly built PC wouldn’t boot up. I can buy a motherboard but I’m just worried about my CPU. Is it fried or just discolored?

Discolored is never good. That being said, the only way to really tell is to put it in a motherboard without bent pins.

No. At worst, it simply wouldn't work.

Do you know if electronic stores like Frys test out processors?

CPU may not be fried. Borrow a motherboard with the same chipset and try out the CPU. Worst case is it will just not boot up. Or find a local PC hardware store that tests and troubleshoots and ask if you can test your CPU.
