Okay, so I just moved my gaming PC into a new case (NZXT 500), and also replaced my stock Cyberpower CPU cooler with the NZXT Kraken M22. I have had my PC for several months now and have never had any issues. I play games on high settings such as RB6, World of Warcraft, Dead By Daylight, and several others. But anyways, I downloaded the CAM software and it is telling me that my CPU is 200 F. But, I am currently typing this on my PC and I also have been on my PC for over an hour right now. So what could be the issue? If my CPU is actually 200 F, wouldn't it have shut down by now or burnt up? I also took off my side panel and felt in my PC and the air is cool, and the heatsinks are also not even warm.

My PC specs:

  • CPU - Intel i5-8600K
    GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
    16 GB Ram

So, what could be the problem?

Solution
You should be able to feel vibration at the pump and in the lines. If you do the only other thing to do is take off the cooler, clean off the thermal paste, apply new and reattach it. If you continue to have high temps something is wrong with the cooler. Personally I think AIOs are a waste of money, they provide the same or in some cases worse cooling then a quality air cooler and have more things that can go wrong and usually cost more.
[strike]The temperature has been up to 210 F. I am almost certain that the pump is on correctly. All of my fans are working as well. How would I be able to check if the cooler is moving water through? [/strike]
