is my download speed ok?

i tested my internet speed at www.speedtest.net and it sais that my download speed is 23mbps but when i download something it doesnt go above 2.3 mbps is there something wrong?

You download speed on speed test and listed on ISP's websites is 23Mbps, while browsers show download speed in MBps, notice the big vs little "b"
There are 8 bits in 1 byte.
You max download speed will be around 2.7MBps

2.3MBps = ~ 19.3Mbps
