Hi guys, so long story short I upgraded all of my PC parts except my GPU back in November. The reason why I didn't upgrade my GPU at that time was because I simply don't have enough money to get one that day. So as soon I got home everything is normal, a couple of weeks later the GPU displayed NO SIGNAL, tired turning it on and off and it works. It happened again but I needed to turn it on and off a couple of times. And this one time I turned in on a couple of times and it displays NO SIGNAL. tried cleaning my RAM, swapping HDMI cable and nothing happen, eventually after a couple of restarts it works perfectly fine. And now every time I turned my PC it's a routine to turned it on and off until eventually I get a display. Does this mean that my GPU is dying?
FYI my GPU is 4 years old and it went through transport after I upgraded it.

PC SPECS:
CPU : Ryzen 5600X

Have you tried taking your GPU apart and seeing what is the situation with thermal paste. This might not be a fix at all but I had similar problem to you where my old GTX 1060 which I bought used from my friend started shutting off and restarting. I took the GPU apart and saw that the thermal paste was basically rock solid so I cleaned everything carefully and switched to a new thermal paste and it worked absolutely fine.

Again in my case I had temperature issues to the point where GPU is turning off by itself but if you are confident enough to take it apart and stick a new thermal paste might be worth a try you wont lose anything.

I would also add when you do your routine thingy to turn on the PC download monitoring software or msi afterburner if you don't already have one and see how are your temperatures doing. If the thermal paste did not fix it most likely the GPU is dying then because it is 4years old after all.

Thank you for your solutions! but my GPU temperature seems to be perfectly fine. And I just want to clarify that whenever I do this "routine", I do it because it displays "NO SIGNAL" and I can't boot to BIOS or anything like that. So this routine is basically like gacha, sometimes it could be the first boot and it shows, sometimes it took 4, sometimes it took up to 10 minutes of turning it on and off every time until eventually it displays something.

Have you tried the gpu in a diffrent working system?
How old is the psu?
And does the pc give restarts while it is running?
No unfortunately I haven't tried it in a different working system yet. the PSU is still 5 months old, everything in my computer is new except my GPU at the moment. And no, as soon as it can display my windows, everything works fine. Even playing games works perfectly fine, just like nothing is wrong with it.

My temps seemed to be perfectly fine too but i went ahead and did it myself and it worked solved my problems! try it if it doesnt work you are no worse for wear but it might work...... Fixed my GPU it turns out it WAS a heating issue I disassembled the GPU cleaned off the old Thermal Paste with Iso Alcohol and a coffee filter 😀 and put a THICK coat of new paste on it covering it fully corner to corner then put it all back together ... Ran my benchmarks and tests got into the games causing me trouble and works like a dream
