is my GPU faulty?

hi so i have a nvidia gtx 1070. and it was working fine before but now all my games crash such as GTA 5, project cars etc. ive tried running Heaven benchmark as well but that also crashes as well. so could this mean my GPU is faulty.

system specs:
Corsair CX 750W power supply
intel core i7 6700k stock speed
noctua nhu14s heatsink
16gb ddr4 ram
Asus maximus vIII motherboard
ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1070

Have you tried reinstalling the driver? Is it overclocked or running stock clocks?

its running at stock speed and ive tried reinstalling drivers but still crashing
