Question Is my GPU fully plugged in? (been trying to figure out for WEEKS)

Hey there!
For a couple of weeks now I've been trying to figure out whether my GPU is fully plugged in or not...
The reason why I never really tried re-plugging it is because my friend helped me build it as I'm not experienced with that type of stuff, except I was the one that (barely) installed the gpu myself, as it arrived late, and ever since then I haven't really been sure whether it's been fully plugged in or not.
The gpu is a little slanted (as seen in the picture), and you can see it sticking out a little of the motherboard, though I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be. I'm worried that after time it could snap and break the gpu/motherboard,

If it's not fully plugged in, then I'll make sure to unscrew it and plug it back in again correctly, as otherwise I wouldn't really want to touch it again in case if anything went wrong.

Thanks in advance!

Could you elaborate?

Thanks for letting me know! Out of curiosity, does it only plug in as far as shown in the picture, or is it meant to be plugged in even further?
It is plugged in all the way. If the latch at the back of the slot is closed, it is fully inserted. The "missing screw" is missing, but it is not a major concern. You will be fine without it, but it is better to have it than not. Unless you move the PC a lot, you will never notice it is missing, and it will not cause any harm.

If it is a 2 slot card you will have to remove 2 slot openings on the back of your case. It looks like you have a lower one blocking half the card!
This is not true. You have a two slot card, and both slot covers were removed as expected. The GPU would not fit at all, and would never work, if you did not have both slot covers removed. I can only assume rolli59 saw the grill in the second slot, and assumed that was the case cover. The case covers are black, that grill is silver, and matches the GPU design. Your card does not appear (in the pictures anyway), to have any Display Plugs on that second section, but it is instead a cooling vent for the GPU.

I can assure you, if the card is working right now, based on everything you have shown so far, there is nothing wrong, and everything is normal and as expected, as far as you should be worried.

You could get and install the second GPU screw, but you can leave it alone as well, since the single screw will do what is needed if you just leave the PC sitting on your desk.
